SECTION 1
BACK OF THE WEEK – Penn Manor’s Andy Olson was in on 15 total tackles, including eight solos and one stop for a loss, and he forced a fumble in the Comets’ 14-10 win at Lampeter-Strasburg.
LINEMAN OF THE WEEK – Hempfield center Chuck Pease had a 95 percent blocking grade and he also had a pair of knockdown blocks in the Black Knights’ 35-13 win over Garden Spot.
SECTION 2
BACK OF THE WEEK – Solanco RB/DB B.J. Enck rushed nine times for 138 yards and a TD, caught six passes for 63 yards and another score on offense, and on D he returned an interception 32 yards. Enck also returned two kickoffs for 52 yards in Solanco’s 28-7 win over Kennard-Dale.
LINEMAN OF THE WEEK – Elizabethtown OG/LB David Kennedy made 13 solo tackles – including three for losses – assisted on four stops, recovered a fumble and forced a fumble in the Bears’ 28-7 loss at Muhlenberg.
SECTION 3
BACK OF THE WEEK – Elco’s Arron Achey completed 7 of 12 passes for 256 yards, tossed four TD passes and rushed for 55 yards on O. And on D he was in on 10 total tackles (four solo hits) and caused a fumble in the Raiders’ 43-12 win over Pine Grove.
LINEMAN OF THE WEEK – Elco’s Kevin Bryan made six solo stops and assisted on seven other tackles from his nose guard spot in the Raiders’ 43-12 victory over Pine Grove.
