Pioneers’ coach chats after 34-21 setback on Opening Night to Cocalico 

I caught up with L-S coach John Manion last Friday night, a couple of minutes after his Pioneers dropped a 34-21 non-league decision to Cocalico in Lampeter.

Great start for L-S – which turned over the Eagles a few times and grabbed a 7-0 lead. But Cocalico’s offense scored 27 unanswered points and pulled away for the victory.

We chatted about that fast start, about Cocalico’s comeback, and about where L-S goes from here … another tough non-league tester Friday against 1-0 Penn Manor.
