Dakota Royer - Penn State-bound // LNP photoManheim Central rising senior Dakota Royer has just given a verbal commitment to Penn State in a press conference at Manheim Central High School.

The Barons’ standout 6-2, 220-pound two-way performer was a First-Team All-State pick last season as a defensive end, after he registered 86 tackles and 13 sacks for Central, which won the Section 2 title before falling to West York in the District 3 Triple-A title game.

He picked Penn State over Pitt and Notre Dame.

Much, much, much more to follow … stay tuned.
