HERSHEY - Donegal has captured its first state soccer championship, compliments of its 3-0 win over L-L League foe Lancaster Mennonite in the PIAA Double-A finale in Hersheypark Stadium.

Brittany Knouse scored two goals and Jovita Richardson added a goal for Donegal, the District 3 Double-A runner-up - and now state champ.

Lancaster Mennonite was denied a repeat; the Blazers won last year’s Double-A state crown.
