Comets’ tight end chats about big night in Tri-County All-Star Football Game
Big, big night for Penn Manor senior Cody Booth in the 8th Annual Lancaster-Lebanon League Tri-County North-South All-Star Football Game last Saturday night at Manheim Central.
The South’s imposing tight end caught four passes for 90 yards – two for touchdowns – helping his team top the North 34-10.
Booth, who will be a preferred walk-on at Temple later this fall, caught a 10-yard TD pass from Garden Spot’s Weston Martin. And he hauled in a sweet 52-yard TD pass from Wilson’s Steve Huber to help the South team grab an early 14-0 lead on the way to a cozy 34-0 cushion in the second half.
I chatted with Booth after the game about his big night, about getting to play in an all-star game, about winning the game and contributing in a big way, and about his future at Temple.
