The District 3 softball playoffs are upon us, and no less than 10 Lancaster-Lebanon League teams will be going for the gold in three classifications.

Solanco, Hempfield, Elizabethtown, Cedar Crest, Lebanon and L-L League runner-up Warwick are in the Quad-A bracket; Lampeter-Strasburg, Manheim Central and L-L League champ Donegal are in the Triple-A bracket; and Annville-Cleona is in the Double-A bracket.

A fantastic lot of players are coming through the L-L League at the moment, and a reader recently passed along an impressive list of local players who will continue their career at the next level.
