Saw Manheim Central junior Dakota Royer up at Penn State last Saturday for the Nittany Lions’ Blue/White Game festivities.

Royer was unavailable to the press because he was on a recruiting trip.

I promise I will catch up with the Barons’ standout defensive end in the very near future. I know I’m jonesing to do an audio Podcast interview with him so he can catch everyone up on his recruiting journey.

But in the meantime I wanted to pass along a few notes …

At last count, Royer is up to 22 athletic scholarship offers, including Penn State.

And according to this story on ESPN.com, Royer will play in the 2010 Under Armour All-American Game, which will be played Jan. 2 and will be televised by ESPN. Follow that link for the full roster.
