Boyer, Vanderhoff, Carangelo make All-State

Three Lancaster-Lebanon League girls’ basketball players have been named to the Associated Press All-State Team.

In Triple-A, Lampeter-Strasburg senior guard Lisa Boyer, who finished her career with 1,448 points and led the Pioneers into the state championship game, was named Third-Team.

In Double-A, Lancaster Mennonite senior guard Katelyn Vanderhoff, the L-L League Player of the Year and a University of Maine recruit who led the Blazers to the league title, into in the District 3 championship game and into the third round of States, was named Second-Team.

Vanderhoff finished her career with 1,548 points.

And in Single-A, Lebanon Catholic junior guard Hailey Carangelo, who will begin her senior season with 1,092 career points, was named Second-Team. She is a repeat selection; Carangelo was named Third-Team last year.
