Cedar Crest student-athlete Kirsten Clemens, who just wrapped up her junior season for the Falcons’ girls’ basketball team, has been injured in a car accident. Here’s what I found.
From the Lebanon Daily News …
Teenager critically hurt in crash
A 17-year-old North Lebanon Township girl was badly injured in a two-vehicle accident in which two other people were hurt in South Lebanon Township.
Kirsten E. Clemens, 1607 Greenwood Drive, was transported by First Aid and Safety Patrol to Hershey Medical Center, where she was in critical condition.
Freddie Hall, 60, of 230 E. Penn Ave., Cleona, was transported by First Aid and Safety Patrol to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was treated and released.
A male passenger in Clemens’ vehicle was transported to Hershey Medical Center, but because police did not release his name, the hospital could not provide information about his condition.
Police said Clemens’ vehicle attempted to turn south from Linden Road onto State Drive and was struck by Hall’s vehicle, which was traveling north on State Drive about 7:30 a.m.
The accident is still under investigation, police said.
