Pequea Valley girls’ basketball coach Melissa Mabry has resigner her post after three seasons on the Braves’ bench.
PV went 12-57 overall in those three seasons, including a 3-13 mark in league games and 3-19 overall record this season.
Mabry, who played college ball for IUP, guided the Braves to the District 3 Double-A playoffs last season. PV fell to eventual runner-up Trinity in the first round.
PV will return its top two scorers next season:
Sophomore Marissa Ferris had a breakout season, averaging a team-best 13.5 points, and she drilled 33 3-pointers.
And junior Amber Stoltzfus added 11.2 points a game for PV this season.
