Anyway … thanks again to everyone for helping to make this page so successful. I appreciate all the hits and all the comments and all the e-mails, etc, etc, etc.

When my gig switched in September, and all of my work started appearing solely online, I was a little nervous. But I’m glad a great big chunk of you use the internet everyday to find my stuff. So thanks for that. And don’t be a stranger. I still get plenty of local football posts on here from time to time.

I know I’m hoping my 2009 is way better than my 2008, and thanks for the kind words of encouragement from all interested parties. That means a lot to me.

2008 … there she goes. Another top-notch year in Lancaster-Lebanon League annals, and I’m glad I got to help deliver all the results, all the action and all the behind-the-scenes stuff to you.

Tissue, anyone?

One of my many resolutions (on top of continuing to lose more than the 47 pounds I lost this past summer) is to continue to deliver multi-media coverage of the L-L League to you on this page and at lancsports.com. Behind-the-scenes stories. Video clips. Audio Podcast interviews (which seemed to be a pretty big hit during football season). Stuff you can’t find anywhere else. And tons of it. First. When we went to this online format, I set a pretty high bar for myself as far as supplying coverage, and my goal is to continue to raise that bar in 2009.

This is starting to sound like an acceptance speech or something.

So if you’ll excuse me now, I want to go watch the second half of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl. Well, maybe not.
