Here’s another nice honor for Penn Manor’s field hockey team, which won the PIAA Triple-A state championship this past fall.

Reigning Lancaster Newspapers’ Player of the Year Jill Witmer and Jenn Bradley have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Mideast Region All-State team.

Sixteen players were named to the team, and Witmer and Bradley were the only L-L League players who were named to the team.

Witmer scored a goal in Penn Manor’s state-championship-clinching 5-0 win over Hershey.

Bradley scored three goals in the Comets’ 4-2 win over Central Dauphin in the state semifinals.
