A friendly reminder … 

I’ll be heading to Hersheypark Stadium on Friday for the District 3 Single-A title game featuring Steel-High against Camp Hill.

Kick time is 1 p.m.

I won’t be doing a full-blown live blog, but I am going to provide some live notes from the game. Sort of like two weeks ago, when I took in Bishop McDevitt vs. Red Lion and Harrisburg vs. Central York. So if you enjoyed that, then join me Friday afternoon, won’t you?

Check back right here on Friday, starting around 12:30 p.m. or so, for updates from the Steel-High vs. Camp Hill game … plus updates on Jeremiah Young’s quest to break the state career rushing record. He only needs 65 yards, so he should eclipse that pretty early on.

From Hershey I’ll head over to Mechanicsburg to do a live blog on lancsports.com from the Manheim Central vs. Mechanicsburg Triple-A semifinal game. Don’t forget: Keith Schweigert will be blogging live on lancsports.com Friday night from the District 3 Double-A championship game, featuring Lancaster Catholic against Middletown from Hersheypark Stadium.

Sounds like I have a long day coming up Friday. Better charge the batteries.
