Former Annville-Cleona standout chats about MU’s season, and previews Saturday’s game at Edinboro
Last game of the 2008 docket for Millersville on Saturday.
The Marauders, who are 1-6 in the PSAC and 1-9 overall, will hit the road, making the long bus trip to Edinboro for PSAC crossover game.
Edinboro is 8-2 overall and is the 20th-ranked Division 2 team in the nation. Edinboro’s two losses are to Mercyhurst and Cal – by a grand total of eight points. So this will be a tall task for MU.
Erik Arnold will be on that bus to Edinboro.
The former Annville-Cleona standout has enjoyed a pretty steady redshirt freshman season for MU. The inside linebacker has appeared in all 10 games, and he’s registered 14 solo tackles – three for losses – and 24 assisted tackles.
I chatted with Erik this week about MU’s ups and downs this season, about which direction the program is headed (hopefully up), and about Saturday’s game.

Capping off a ludicrously busy week on my end, so I did not prepare an MU-Edinboro capsule. All apologies for that.
But please visit MU’s Web page for an in-depth breakdown of the game, including notes and stats and other assorted goodies.

And thanks for listening to my MU Podcasts this season. I was lucky enough to chat with some Marauders’ players, and a bunch of former L-L League standouts that are now playing around the PSAC. So thanks for that.
