Crusaders’ two-way stud lineman chats about winning the Section 3 title
He is one of the ringleaders of Lancaster Catholic’s undefeated romp through Section 3 of the L-L League, which culminated with a 42-7 win last Friday at Elco, giving the Crusaders the outright crown and their fourth Section 3 title in a row.
He helps blow open holes on the o-line, and he’s a blitz-happy defender who was a key anchor on the second-ranked D in the L-L League this season.
He’s also a blue-chip recruit who could land at a major Division 1 college before it’s all said and done.
He is Nick Schmalhofer, and I caught up with the reigning two-way First-Team Section 3 All-Star after Catholic knocked off Elco last Friday.
