Indians’ coach chats about New Era Player of the Week Kyle Witmer

Donegal jumped back in the win column last Friday with a 55-13 win over Pequea Valley.

Big night for senior fullback Kyle Witmer, who rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns for the Indians, who improved to 1-1 in Section 3 and to 2-3 overall.

I chatted with Donegal coach Bill Groff on Monday about a number of things: Like Witmer, and how he’s stepped into the Indians’ mucho important fullback spot this season; about the Section 3 race, which likely have many more twists and turns before its over; and about where Donegal fits into the race.
