Spartans’ WR chats about three-TD performance against Lebanon, previews big game vs. E-town
Tyler Eby went crazy for Garden Spot last Friday night.
The Spartans’ wideout hauled in seven catches for 174 yards and caught three touchdown passes, helping Garden Spot top Lebanon 35-21 in a key L-L League Section 2 game.
Eby’s TD grabs covered 27, 22 and 26 yards, as Garden Spot QB Weston Martin clicked on 17-of-24 passes for 293 yards – 174 of those to Eby, who was spectacular. His second TD grab was a gorgeous over-the-shoulder catch in the corner of the end zone.
I caught up with Eby after Garden Spot’s big win, and we chatted about the Spartans’ big passing night, about Garden Spot’s quick 2-0 start in the section, and about this week’s big showdown for first place against Elizabethtown.
