Finally - some good news for Pequea Valley

Pequea Valley WR Sean Persch - back on the field Friday night vs. Donegal // LNP photoNo, no … not on the scoreboard (sorry, PV fans). But some terrific news for the Braves, indeed:

Returning All-State wideout Sean Persch, who suffered torn ligaments in his hand earlier this season, returned to the lineup Friday night against Donegal — a 55-13 victory for the Indians.

Persch had successful surgery to repair the torn ligaments, and when doctors said his rehab was going well, he was given the thumbs up on Thursday to suit up and play football again.

It was feared when Persch went down that he would miss the rest of his senior season - but he was back in there in Week 5 … wearing a trusty soft cast to protect his injury.

Pequea Valley is also playing without junior QB Mike Rice, who went down with a fractured ankle earlier this season.
