Bears’ two-way trench minder chats about clutch win against Solanco

Elizabethtown’s Alex Kirchner // LNP photoYou gotta love those high-energy guys, and Elizabethtown has one of the best high-energy guys in the L-L League in two-way standout Alex Kirchner.

The trench stalwart came up big against last Saturday night, leading the charge from his o-line and d-end spot in E-town’s 13-7 win at Solanco in the Section 2 opener for both teams – who also just happened to share the section hardware last season.

E-town got the leg up this time.

Kirchner was all over the place against Solanco, particularly on D, where he continually brought the heat and chased Golden Mules’ QB Ben Miller all over the place.

I chatted with Kirchner in E-town’s locker room after the game, and he talked about the Bears’ big defensive effort against Solanco, and where E-town goes from here.
