Barons’ playmaker previews Central’s showdown against Lancaster Catholic
If there is one area where Manheim Central has excelled so far this season, it is definitely in the passing department.
Barons’ senior quarterback Jeremy Knosp has passed for a league-best 459 yards through two games, sparking Central’s offense.
One of Knosp’s favorite targets in the early season has been Dan Trafford, who hauled in five passes for 118 yards in Central’s tough 20-15 loss at Wilson last Friday.
In two games, Trafford has 10 catches for 190 yards.
Central will certainly need Knosp and Trafford’s heroics again on Friday, when Lancaster Catholic invades Manheim for the non-league showdown of all non-league showdowns.
In this audio Podcast interview, I caught up with Trafford during practice on Tuesday, and we chatted about this week’s huge game against Lancaster Catholic.
