Crusaders’ junior QB chats about Friday’s big showdown at Manheim Central

Kyle Smith has already quarterbacked Lancaster Catholic to some big wins in some raucous venues.

But the game he and his Crusaders’ teammates are facing this Friday might be one of their toughest yet.

Smith and his mates will make the trip to Elden Rettew Field in Manheim on Friday, where the Crusaders will take on Manheim Central in the mother of all non-league games.

Smith, an All-State selection last fall, will be challenged by the Barons’ blitzing D, particularly by standout d-end Dakota Royer, who you know is jonesing to chase the Crusaders’ QB silly.
