Cedars’ football coach chats about Lebanon’s 2-0 start, and the “Air Raid” attack that helped get them there

Lebanon coach Gerry Yonchiuk // LNP photoDon’t look now, but there just might be another major player when the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 2 race gets started next week.

When Lebanon takes on backyard rival Elco this Friday, the Cedars will be looking for their first 3-0 start since 2003.

Lebanon’s “Air Raid” offensive attack has been lights out the first two weeks – the Cedars knocked off cross-town rival Cedar Crest 39-7 in the Cedar Bowl, and then survived a shootout at Spring Grove last week, holding off the Rockets 38-32.

In this audio Podcast interview, Lebanon coach Gerry Yonchiuk chats about his team’s fast start, its pass-happy offense, and this Friday’s key game against Elco.
