Barons’ senior QB previews Central’s key game at Wilson
Jeremy Knosp had a whopper of a game in Manheim Central’s season-opener last Friday night against Susquehannock.
In the Barons’ 32-10 victory, Central’s senior quarterback – finally healthy after back-to-back injury ravaged seasons – rushed for 134 yards and a pair of scores and completed 13-of-22 passes for 216 yards and two scores.
Knosp and the Barons cranked out 574 yards of total offense.
It could be a tad trickier putting up those kinds of numbers again on Friday, when Central takes on Wilson (and its powerhouse defense) in a non-league showdown game in West Lawn.
I sat down with Jeremy before practice on Tuesday, and in this audio Podcast, you’ll hear Mr. Knosp talk about the Barons’ Week 1 victory, about putting his injury problems in the past, and – oh yeah – about playing Wilson this week.
