It won’t be long … L-L League Insider is about to launch.

Our new Lancaster-Lebanon League Web page is almost ready to go. We’re just tweaking a few things and adding some bells and whistles.

If you’re an L-L League sports fan, you will absolutely, positively love our new site, which will go live Friday, August 29, just in time for the L-L League football openers.

You will be able to find our site at www.LANCSPORTS.com

Every school will have its own page. And starting with football season, each football player will have his own page, which will include a biography, a photo and updated statistics.

The site will include stories, features, columns, Podcast interviews, video clips, a chat forum feature, standings, statistics and my favorite … the Huddle Blog, which is where you’ll find all of my L-L League football posts, including my daily notes, rankings, statistics, Player of the Week feature and my 3 Stars feature … plus whatever else I come up with L-L League football-wise. You’ll want to check the Huddle Blog daily.

The plan is to start adding more sports as we go on … we’re still learning how this whole things works, so we wanted to start with football and then add to it. But every sports story that appears in the print editions will go to this site, and those stories will appear on each school’s page. So there will always be fresh content on all the pages.

L-L League Insider will be my full-time gig pretty much from here on out. You won’t see many of my stories in the print editions. But you’ll find plenty of my L-L League reporting and observations at L-L League Insider — and, of course, here. I will continue this blog, for sure. I’ll still post everything and anything here.
