Lancaster Catholic-Trinity, Cocalico-L-S in the spotlight in season openers on Friday

This Friday, when L-L League Insider goes live to the universe, we’ll be debuting our LIVE BLOG feature.

Every week, online sports editor Keith Schweigert and I will be blogging live from the top two games of the week.

We have selected our Week 1 games:

Keith will be blogging live from Trinity @ Lancaster Catholic, beginning at 7 p.m.

I’ll be blogging live from L-S @ Cocalico, also beginning at 7 p.m.

I did a couple of live blogs at the end of last season, and I thought they went over pretty well.

You can find one of my live blogs from a football game last fall right here if you want to see how I did them then.

Our goal is to give you instant updates from the game … highlights, scoring summaries, big plays, plus any other news or notes.

Trust me when I tell you that you’ll love the live blog interface – our updates will happen in real time. No more going back in and hitting ‘refresh’ or ‘update’ … when we type something in from the stadium, it will appear instantly.

It’s pretty sweet.
