August 18, 2008 – At their August 18 meeting, the Ephrata Area School Board approved the hiring of Patrick Cristino as the new Ephrata Varsity Boys’ Basketball Coach.

“I have been fortunate to have coached with some of the best coaches in South Central PA in great school districts. One of my many goals is to take what I have learned over the last 10 years and build a program at Ephrata where our players achieve to their potential not only in
basketball but academically,” Mr. Cristino said.

Mr. Cristino has been coaching basketball for over 10 years. He was previously the Assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach at Eastern York High School, the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Franklin and Marshall College, and the Girls’ 9th Grade Basketball Coach at Hershey High
School. In addition, he has been an AAU Boys’ Basketball Coach and coached several boys’ and girls’ basketball camps.

School District Superintendent.
