Hey! Brett Favre got traded to the Jets!
Oh yeah, you’ve probably heard that one by now.
Anyhoo … another week, another trip to the bathroom to hop on the scale.
Not the greatest week ever, but I did lose weight.
Summer is finally winding down, and with fall sports in sight, my schedule will begin to change dramatically over the next few weeks.
I’m hoping my change in schedule won’t completely screw up what I’ve been able to do this summer.
Keep your fingers crossed.
Oh yeah, Friday is my three-month anniversary since I got this diet cranking. Thought I’d mention that.
To the update machine …
STARTING WEIGHT: 319 on May 8.
LAST UPDATE: July 31 – 271.
CURRENT WEIGHT – 270.
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS TO DATE: 49 pounds.
NOTABLE: OK, OK, I only lost one stinking pound over the last week. That’s a bit of a bummer, I must admit. But on the bright side, I did lose weight. And I’ve found that a lot of times, it takes a few days for everything to register – if that makes sense. Some days I’ll step on the scale and it says that I gained a pound. Then I’ll step on it the next morning, and it says I lost 3 pounds. So maybe I actually lost 5 pounds this week, and my scale is messing with me! Ha. Hey, I’ll take the one pound. I didn’t gain weight. I continued to walk with abandon and drink water like a fiend. And one more pound, and I’ll be at the magical 50-pound mark. Not too shabby. Enjoy the Olympics.
