Just wrapped up another 50-minute session on the treadmill. Been passing the time watching the Hogan’s Heroes box set.
These summertime workouts are even more grueling because our laundry room is like a sauna. Whew!
But the workouts are paying off, because after a trip to the bathroom to step on the scale, I had another pretty good week on the diet.
If you recall, I was scuffling a bit last week. We had eaten out a few times, and it was a complete and total struggle to lose 1 ½ pounds.
I’m happy to report that I had a much better week.
So let’s go straight to the update …
STARTING WEIGHT: 319 on May 8.
LAST UPDATE: July 24 – 274 ½.
CURRENT WEIGHT: 271.
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS TO DATE: 48 pounds (I’ll skip the ½).
NOTABLE: Feeling a little better about things the last week. Made an effort not to eat out as much, and really stick to it. Workouts were great and I’ve continued to drink water like a freak. Feeling good and extremely motivated. If I keep it up, I might shed the ‘7′ next week, and see a ‘6′ on the scale. And two (2) more pounds until the magic 50. That should motivate me for sure.
