Where is this summer going?
I think I’ve spent half of my summer downstairs in our laundry room, strapped to the treadmill.
Just walked for 50 minutes and made my weekly trek to the digital scale.
Happy to report that I dropped a few more pounds – not as many as last week’s 6-pound loss. But I am continuing to lose weight.
And that’s the bottom line.
So here’s the update …
STARTING WEIGHT: 319 on May 8.
LAST UPDATE: July 9 – 278.
CURRENT WEIGHT: 276.
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS TO DATE: 43 pounds.
NOTABLE: Not a bad week – walked like a maniac, drank buckets and buckets of water and continued to stay away from the sugary stuff. My blood sugar numbers, as a result, have been great: usually between 50 and 90. Somewhere my diabetic doctor is smiling. Would absolutely love to drop seven pounds this week and get to the magic 50-pound number. Keep your fingers crossed.
