In this post, you’ll find the quarterback rankings from the 2007 L-L League football season.
I rank the quarterbacks using the NCAA passing efficiency formula. It’s a pretty simple formula. For a guy who completely stinks at math, even I can do it:
(8.4 x yards) plus (330 x TD passes) minus (200 x interceptions thrown) plus (100 x completions) divided by pass attempts. Minimum pass attempts for last season were 50.
Here’s how the QB’s were ranked, based on that formula:
Kyle Smith, Lancaster Catholic – 12 games, 155 of 242 for 2,595 yards, 27 TD, 6 picks, 186.0.
Matt Carty, Cocalico – 8 games, 38 of 70 for 739 yards, 9 TD, 5 picks, 171.2.
Jon Resch, Warwick – 11 games, 139 of 234 for 2,144 yards, 24 TD, 8 picks, 163.4.
Brett Graeff, L-S – 15 games, 78 of 154 for 1,466 yards, 16 TD, 6 picks, 157.1.
