Former Solanco distance specialist earns All-Academic nod from USTFCCCA
Priscilla Jennings had a dynamite spring on the track for Millersville University’s track and field team. And this morning, she earned another honor for her overflowing trophy case: a U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic nod.

Millersville’s Jennings Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Millersville women’s track and field standout Priscilla Jennings continued to garner accomplishments and honors Friday as she was named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field Team.
Jennings (Quarryville/Solanco), who was an All-American in the outdoor 5,000-meter run and the indoor mile, was one of 222 honorees from 69 Division II schools. The team includes athletes from the indoor and outdoor seasons.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met the NCAA Division II Indoor or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) was represented by 26 athletes from eight schools.
Jennings also posted qualifying times in the outdoor 800 meters, 1,500 meters and 3,000 meters as well as the indoor 800. During the indoor and outdoor seasons, she set a total of seven school records and was part of the distance medley relay team that set a PSAC indoor meet record.
She also compiled five PSAC titles (two indoor and three outdoor) and was named PSAC Women’s Track Co-Athlete of the Meet, USTFCCCA East Region Track Athlete of the Year and PSAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Year.
