The 8th annual PSFCA East-West All-Star Game was called during the third quarter Saturday night in Altoona when wicked thunderstorms (including nasty lightning strikes) rolled through the area.

Manheim Central kicker Justin Myer, a Virginia Tech recruit, kicked off for the East team to open the game, but that was the only time all evening that he kicked – the West team won the rain-shortened game 10-0.

Wilson’s Chris Hartzell also played for the East team, and he had one catch (for 0 yards) from his wideout spot.

And Lancaster Catholic coach Bruce Harbach was an assistant on the East side.

You can find a story about the game, and a complete box score with full stats here.
