Changes ahead in L-L football landscape?

One of my favorite local online pages to read is berksgameday.com, which is part of the Reading Eagle’s online package.

I was surfing around on that page this morning and I came across this interesting story about Reading High’s football team.

Turns out the Red Knights have applied to enter the Berks I-C League for the start of the 2010 season.

If Reading High leaves, that would leave Section 1 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League minus one team.

And who knows? If Reading High leaves, do you think Wilson will follow? Something to think about.

Reading High has also hired a new football coach to replace Victor Brown. Say hello to Preston McKnight.

You can read that story here.

Ah yes, L-L League football … it won’t be long.

Are they not supposed to be in Section 3 based on enrollment and choose to play in Section 2. If that is the case I have never heard of a section 3 team playing section 1.
