A tip of the cap, a hardy handshake and a job well done to a pair of L-L League student/athletes who were honored Wednesday for their work not only on the playing fields, but in the classroom.

Penn Manor senior Alie Girvin and Northern Lebanon senior Travis Dresch were named the L-L League Brackbill Award winners for this school year.

They were honored at a luncheon Wednesday, and will be introduced at the annual Manheim Touchdown Club banquet, set for Thursday night at the Lancaster Host Resort.

Congrats to Alie and Travis.
