L-L blogger with wife Rebecca and daughter Sarah at Epcot’s “Ice Ball” rideHello again, this time from the greater Orlando, Florida area. Just a tad bit warmer down here than in good old Lancaster County. Whew.

So far so good on our journey. We spent Sunday at Epcot Center – be sure to check out the cool photo, with yours truly, Rebecca and daughter Sarah outside the popular Spaceship Earth attraction. Or, as Sarah calls it, the “Ice Ball” ride.

Sorry, but Sarah had her eyes closed. Oh well, you get the picture. And how cool does the “Ice Ball” look, by the way?

Our trip to Orlando was extended a few days when Bruce Springsteen had to push back his show here from Saturday until Wednesday because of a death in his band. We were going to go to the show on Saturday, and then probably head west Monday or Tuesday. Instead, we’re sticking around for the show on Wednesday, then heading west. Hey, you can’t pass up a Bruce show, you know?

Not sure how far we’re going to get – we’d like to get to Austin, Texas, and then probably head back.

Sad to hear about the passing of John Marzano the other day. That was a shocker.

Haven’t heard much about any L-L League comings or goings, but I’m guessing everything is going swimmingly. Heck, some of the spring playoffs will be starting the week I return.

Did get to read some of the stories about Graham Zug and how well the former Manheim Central standout performed in Penn State’s Blue/White Game the other day. That was certainly good news for the former Baron.

That’s about all for now. On Tuesday, we’re headed to the mother of all amusement parks: Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It will be our third trip there with Sarah, and it’s one of her favorite spots, particularly the Dumbo the Elephant ride. I’ll try and post a photo from there later in the week.

Come on, admit it: This is way more fun than reading my L-L League sports musings, right? Ha.

And yes, my farmer tan is coming along quite nicely. Thanks for asking.

Adios for now.
