The rental car will be departing the Reinhart residence on Wednesday, making stops (among other places) in Orlando, Florida; Montgomery, Alabama; Biloxi, Mississippi; New Orleans, Louisiana; Houston, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; Austin, Texas; El Paso, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and (maybe) Las Vegas, Nevada (Vegas, baby, yeah). And that’s just the first part of our journey. Then we have to turn around and drive all the way back. My wife and I have gone cross-country in the car three times, so we’re old pros at this. But this will be the first time we’re taking our daughter on a long road trip, so please keep your fingers crossed for us. And if you have any tips about keeping a 4-year-old occupied in a car for two and a half weeks, do send them in.

So, I’m sorry to report that this page won’t be updated regularly until I return on Monday, May 5.

Ah, you’ll survive.

May or may not do some updates from the road. Really, really need a breather, so it’s very unlikely that I’ll be packing my trusty laptop.
