Two college signings to pass along.

And before I go any further, let me say that these are two of the coolest kids I’ve been around and got to interview.

Cocalico senior football standout Zeb Rineer will play for Lebanon Valley College.

Cocalico’s Zeb Rineer // LNP photoRineer was a First-Team Section 2 All-Star at two positions last fall: on offense, he was a first-team guard, and on defense he was a first-team defensive end.

Rineer was also named Section 2 Offensive Lineman of the Year and Section 2 Defensive Lineman of the Year, and helped the Eagles advance to the District 3 Triple-A playoffs — after some local media hack picked Cocalico to finish last in Section 2. Oooops.

Solanco senior basketball standout CeCe Buzzard will play for Alvernia College in Reading.

Buzzard led the Golden Mares in scoring this past season, averaging 12.2 points a game. She scored in double-figures 17 times, and her season-high was a 21-point game against Elizabethtown on Jan. 4.

In 23 games, Buzzard scored 281 points and hit five 3-pointers, and she finished her career at Solanco with 734 points.
