McCaskey

OUTLOOK: Penn Manor has some strong individual performers. The Comets will need to develop depth to contend in the section.
Solanco

OUTLOOK: With Fickes and Ressler as the only returning seniors, Solanco is young. The Mules should be strong in the distance events.
Section 2
Cocalico

OUTLOOK: After losing 26 seniors, Cocalico is hurting for depth. The Eagles look to rebuild with newcomers that will need to compete right away.
Conestoga Valley

OUTLOOK: It’s a rebuilding year at CV. McNally, the state champ in the 1,600, is the leader and key returning performer.
Elizabethtown

OUTLOOK: Lots of returning talent at E-town. The Bears hope to stay in contention for the section and are optimistic they can send some athletes to the District 3 meet.
Ephrata

Annville-Cleona

OUTLOOK: Batula, the league champ in the high jump, anchors this group — which is young and is looking to develop.

OUTLOOK: Although Columbia lacks the numbers to compete in the dual meets, it’s goal Is state medals. The Crimson Tide has some contenders, particularly in the relays.
