PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CeCe Buzzard, Solanco: The Golden Mares’ senior sniper finished her career in fine fashion with three solid games last week.

Last Monday, she scored 14 points in Solanco’s 40-31 Section 2 win over Elizabethtown.

Last Wednesday, she scored 14 points in Solanco’s 45-32 Section 2 win over Cocalico.

And last Friday, in a make-up non-league game, she scored 18 points in Solanco’s 47-40 win over Donegal, as the Mares’ won their final three games in a row.

Buzzard finished 15th in the league in scoring during the regular season (12.2), and she finished her career with 734 points.
