Allison Bauer, Conestoga Valley: What a week for the Buckskins’ senior sniper. Last Tuesday, she pumped in 27 points in CV’s 68-53 Section 2 victory over Elizabethtown, and she followed that up last Friday with a career-high 30 points and four 3-pointers in the Bucks’ 65-50 Section 2 victory over Solanco, as CV remained alone in second place in the section. Bauer, a Franklin & Marshall recruit and 1,000-career-point scorer, is sixth in the league in scoring (15.2) and fifth in the league in 3-pointers (31).

Section 1
Cedar Crest (17-4, 12-2) at McCaskey (14-7, 10-4)
Cedar Crest is tied with Hempfield for first place, and needs a win to stay there. McCaskey is eliminated with a loss. Cedar Crest won the first meeting 47-42 Jan. 4 in Lebanon. Keep an eye on: McCaskey’s Danee Simms, who is averaging 14.6 points in her last five games.
Section 2
Garden Spot (13-8, 10-4) at Ephrata (9-12, 6-8)
Garden Spot clinches the section crown with a win. Ephrata is eliminated from the chase for second place with a loss. Garden Spot won the first meeting 53-49 Jan. 4 in New Holland. Keep an eye on: Ephrata’s Brynn Lyons, who is averaging 15.4 points with 11 3-pointers in her last five games.
Section 3
Lampeter-Strasburg (19-2, 12-2) at Lebanon (9-12, 7-7)
L-S clinches the section crown with a win. L-S won the first meeting 63-36 Jan. 4 in Lampeter. Keep an eye on: L-S’ Katie Lynch, who is averaging 14.5 points in her last six games.
