The Lancaster-Lebanon League has another 1,000-career-point scorer.
McCaskey senior point guard Teasia Myers needed 25 points to crack the 1,000-career-point club heading into the Red Tornado’s non-league game at home against Reading High on Saturday.
Myers, in her third season as McCaskey’s full-time floor general, scored 28.
McCaskey topped Reading High (the reigning Berks County league champ) 63-52 and improved to 3-1 overall.
Myers has 1,003 career points.
She is the 11th player in the history of McCaskey’s girls’ program to score at least 1,000 points.
The last player to reach that milestone for the Tornado was Sasha Williams last season.
