Gettysburg and L-S are on the field warming up. Not a lot of wind, but it’s chilly.
Stay tuned for more updates.

WITH JUST ONE STARTER BACK IN THE MIX (SENIOR FORWARD BRITTANY RYDER), LANCASTER CATHOLIC IS NOT THE USUAL RUNAWAY FAVORITE IN THE SECTION RACE. BUT NEVER, EVER COUNT OUT THE CRUSADERS - ESPECIALLY WITH RYDER ON BOARD
When Brittany Ryder surveys the court, she doesn’t see too many familiar faces.

I’m not a political guy. Trust me.
I’m not big on endorsing candidates or smear campaigns or any of that junk.
But it’s time.
It’s time for a local high school to step up to the plate and hire Jim Cantafio as its head football coach.
You remember Cantafio.
Conestoga Valley. Wyoming Valley West. Wilson.
District championships. State-playoff appearances. […]

“I don’t have anything else to say,” Lampeter-Strasburg’s football coach said, “because I didn’t think I’d be back up here again tonight.”
Manion made a pair of trips to the winner’s podium Wednesday at the Timbers Restaurant.
The first was to accept a gold championship […]

WITH FOUR STARTERS BACK IN THE FOLD (AND THEY’RE ALL JUNIORS), L-S IS THE TEAM TO BEAT IN SECTION 3
They were last season’s feel-good team of the Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Lampeter-Strasburg’s Speed Rush defense has been stellar the last two weeks.
The Pioneers’ blitzing 4-3 front held Elizabethtown to just 40 rushing yards in the District 3 Triple-A quarterfinals, and then followed that gem up last Friday by holding Hershey to minus-6 rushing yards in the district semifinals.
L-S’s 4-3 front will definitely be tested […]
