One of the toughest weeks yet for 3 Stars, with multiple choices.
Had to flip some quarters for this group, which includes:
*** Malcolm Williams, QB, Reading – Two weeks in a row on the big list for Mr. Williams, who torched Hempfield in the rain on Friday with 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the Red Knights’ 46-21 win over the Black Knights. Williams had TD keepers of 63, 21, 51 and 51 yards, respectively, one week after rushing for 154 yards and three TDs in a win over Cedar Crest. What a two weeks for Williams, the multi-purpose Temple recruit.
*** Nate Pagan, WR/DB, Manheim Township – Rain? What rain? Pagan picked off a pass and returned it 58 yards for a TD, returned a punt 31 yards for a TD, and had an 8-yard TD run on a jet sweep to cap the hat trick in the Blue Streaks’ clutch 26-7 win over Wilson on Friday. The 5-6, 155-pounder was the biggest player on the field. He was huge.
*** Jordan Hallman, RB/DB Elizabethtown – How about these jaw-dropping numbers: 20 carries for 301 yards and five TDs in the Bears’ 56-14 rout over Manheim Central. Hallman’s TD runs covered 23, 35, 64, 86 and 14 yards, respectively, as E-town improved to 9-0 – the lone unbeaten team in the league.
