The record is so close, you can practically smell it. Manheim Township senior Tim Stratton moved within seven points of breaking the U.S. career scoring record on Wednesday, netting four goals and getting three assists in the Blue Streaks’ victory over Hempfield in the CPSLA district semifinals. Stratton needs six points to tie and seven points to break Max Quinzani’s national record. There’s a great chance he’ll do that Friday against Warwick in the district final. Here’s an update:
