Just wanted to pass along a correction … hey, we all make mistakes.

I reported here and in Wednesday’s New Era that Lancaster Country Day was making its first trip to a District 3 championship game.

Um, false.

When LCD takes on Lebanon Catholic on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Giant Center, it will mark LCD’s second trip to the finals.

LCD fell to Lebanon Catholic in the 1999 District 3 Single-A championship game.

All apologies to the fine folks at LCD.
