FINAL L-L League stat pack for 2-10-07

L-L League scoring champ: CV senior Caitlyn Dillard (414 points, 18.0 average) // New Era photo Eric FrybergerThe Lancaster-Lebanon League regular season is in the books.

Congrats to the section champs:

1 – Cedar Crest, via a riveting one-game playoff victory over McCaskey. That gave the Falcons two wins over the Red Tornado in less than 24 hours – and three wins over McCaskey this season. I thought it was impossible for a team to beat another team three times in one season? Guess not. <I covered Crest-McCaskey III on Friday, and you can read my story in Saturday’s New Era.>

2 – Conestoga Valley, which hit a couple of speed bumps, but held on down the stretch. It got dicey for the Buckskins, but they kept it together.

3 – Lebanon, which also needed a one-game playoff, topping pesky Lampeter-Strasburg for the hardware. Yeah, that move down from Section 2 turned out OK, eh?

4 – Lancaster Catholic, which locked up the crown three weeks ago. Can’t think of anything catchy to write here. Sorry.
