Baker-Knoll passes away

From Gov. Ed Rendell’s office:
(Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll) died Wednesday at approximately 6 p.m. at National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she was recovering from treatment for neuroendocrine cancer. She was surrounded by her family.

Lt. Gov. diagnosed with neuroendocrine illness

Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll announced today she’s been diagnosed with a form of cancer but she’s vowing to have gavel in hand to conduct the Senate’s business.
