COLUMN PREVIEW: For Feb. 23, 2009

February 22nd, 2009 10:13 pm · 0 comments

The fare for this week’s column is a little light, kinda like a brothy soup with crackers for lunch instead of a sandwich.

Topics include another look at charging municipalities which use state police for law enforcement; Lancaster County Commissioner Scott Martin’s new job; and a small plug for PCN’s “Journalist Roundtable” this Thursday. If you tune in at 8 p.m. Thursday, a familiar and bearded face will appear (I promise to smile, unlike the pensive column photo in your print edition tomorrow).

A note about Monday: I have the day off but if my e-mail inbox is stuffed with material of a political origin, I’ll try to post an “Evening Coffee” here at the Nest. Otherwise, your daily dose of liquid filtered through coffee grinds will reappear Tuesday.
