Just keep J-Rollin’ along

I guess the nostalgia is running a little deep tonight. Last post, I spoke about 2005, and for some reason, I’m having flashbacks to just one year ago. The Pennsylvania press corps sat at the ready. Hillary Clinton looked to save her campaign with a sweep of Texas and Ohio against Barack Obama. That was a little more than a year ago. The echoes of Clinton in Pucillo Gymnasium and Obama holding a rainy presser in Manheim will reverberate strongly during March.

I miss those days every day. I wish the circus would come back. Once you’ve been in the trenches of a presidential campaign, you spend much of your time afterwards wishing you could go back.

My weekend’s here. I suppose the nostalgia is channeling from this Saturday’s big reunion with college friends from the Elizabethtown days. Hope you find yourself surrounded by old and new friends this weekend. Back at the Nest for The Column on Sunday.

I’ll leave yah with this new commercial featuring Jimmy Rollins. Hilarious.
