PRESS PASS: What’s left

November 3rd, 2008 3:13 pm · 0 comments

Greetings, Nesters. I know I haven’t written much in the last week or so of the campaign, and really, what is there left to write about? The stump speeches have been delivered 10,000 times by both Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain, the strategies really don’t change in the last days leading up to an election and all that’s left to do is to vote. Since Thursday, I feel like we’ve been in a holding pattern circling around the landing zone just waiting for Tuesday to get here. Meanwhile, there’s robocalls about Jeremiah Wright … a word to the McCain folks, we’ve heard all of this before … and Obama slamming McCain as W II … I’m certain we’ve heard that before, too …

I’m not really jaded, just a little bored and anxious. Like many of you, let’s just vote and see what happens. The candidates have made their cases; there’s nothing much left to say. So let’s get on with it.
